With English for Action London

At the end of September 2023, my contract with English for Action came to and end, after three and a half years working with the organisation.  From April-September, we worked as a partnership with my organisation, the Utopia Workshop.

I was contracted as the project manager and a teacher-organiser in the London Borough of Brent, and with The Voice of Domestic Workers in Holborn.  I taught the Our World Class, which promoted anti-racism and internationalism. All these projects supported EFA's general mission to develop and empower migrant community organisers in London.

I led a participatory article-writing process with European partners showcasing the questions that arise in Community Organising with migrant communities.

I coordinate the Participatory ESOL Community of Practice, which is organising a Conference on Trauma-informed ESOL.
